Laura Koppes Bryan Named Lewis Honors College's Inaugural Lewis Faculty Scholar

Sena's piece "Potential Barrier to American Chestnut Restoration" discusses his research on Phytophthora cinnamomi, an introduced soilborne pathogen that causes diseases in many species around the world, and its effect on the American chestnut.

Gaines Center Names 12 New Scholars for 2019

The Gaines Fellowship is presented in recognition of outstanding academic performance, demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, an interest in public issues and a desire to enhance understanding of the human condition through the humanities.

UK Takes National Championship — in Debate

Earlier this week the University of Kentucky Debate team of Dan Bannister and Anthony Trufanov defeated the University of Georgia to become the 2019 National Debate Tournament Champions.
