Help Prep for a Pollinator Garden

Meet at the landscape beds between the Lewis Honors College and The 90 to help remove non-native plants and shrubs to prepare for the planting of a pollinator garden. Dress weather and work appropriate as we will be digging in the dirt! All are welcome to participate. Contact kenton.sena@uky.edu with questions or for more information.

Models of Student Leadership Development at UK Foundational Skills

In partnership with CELT and the Martin School for Public Policy and Administration, the Leadership Advisory Council of the Lewis Honors College Provost IMPACT Award “Leadership Development Collaborative:  A Transdisciplinary Approach to Leadership Development” is hosting an interactive panel of experts focusing on four models for student leadership development at UK. Participants will learn about different student leadership development approaches as well as receive takeaways on how to develop student leaders and will be inspired for student leadership development.

Lewis Honors College Night at Kentucky Proud Park

All LHC students, faculty, and staff with a valid UK ID get in for free. Cheer on Dean Brady as he throws out the first pitch as the University of Kentucky takes on the University of Louisville!

Plant a Tree with Me Surface Mine Tree Planting

Join Honors College faculty Kenton Sena for a day of reforestation at a surface mining site in Eastern KY. Lunch is provided; please dress appropriately for outdoor work (including closed-toed shoes) and bring water. Carpooling is required for this event, so please RSVP to ensure your spot. Carpool will depart from the Lewis Honors College at 8AM.
