Lewis Launch Schedule

To provide you with an overview for continuing your academic success with the Lewis Honors College, Lewis Launch will offer opportunities to forge strong connections with faculty, staff, and students. For more information about each event, click on the title or scroll down the page.

Here is a tentative overview of what takes place during Lewis Launch. To view the full schedule, use the drop downs below.

MONDAY, August 18

9:00am-3:00pm: Move-in Appointments
1:30pm-5:30pm: Check-in for Lewis Launch (Lewis Honors College) 
Stop by our Welcome and Hospitality Center located in Lewis Honors College to check in for Lewis Launch. Bring your family members to pick up their gift while supplies last. We encourage families to check in with us throughout the afternoon--our "middle" of the check in tends to be the least busy!
5:30pm-6:30pm: Meet up with your Launch Group (Location will be communicated by your Launch Leader)
6:30pm-8:00pm: Dinner with your Launch Group (The 90 or Champions Kitchen)
Go to dinner with your launch group or eat with your family.
8:00pm: Evening Social Event
 

TUESDAY, August 19

9:30am-10:00am: Check- in for Lewis Launch (Gatton Student Center, coat check outside of Ballrooms ABC) If you did not check-in on Monday at the Welcome & Hospitality Center, please check in here 
10:00am: Official Launch Welcome Session (Gatton Student Center, Ballrooms ABC)
11:30am: Group Photo
12:00pm-1:30pm: Lunch with your Launch Group (The 90 or Champions Kitchen)
1:30pm-5:00pm: Rotational Sessions (See drop down menu for more information on rotational sessions) Learn about resources and programs and meet with your advisors and counselors
5:30pm: Dinner with your Launch Group (The 90 or Champions Kitchen)
7:00pm-8:30pm: Evening Event
 

WEDNESDAY, August 20

10:00am-11:00am: Meet the Faculty Session (Gatton Student Center, Ballrooms AB)
Attend the faculty panel discussion to get to know some of your faculty members before the school year kicks off.
11:00am-12:30pm: Resource Fair (Gatton Student Center, Ballroom C)
Visit with UK resources and student organizations to learn about all the ways you can get plugged in
12:30pm: Lunch with your Launch Group, Launch Concludes (The 90 or Champions Kitchen)
