Lewis Honors College Released Honors Admission Decisions
The Lewis Honors College released its admission decisions to applicants on February 17. This year, the Lewis Honors College received a record-breaking number of more than 7,000 applications, making the selection process more competitive than at any other time in the history of the College.
All applicants were carefully reviewed holistically by the Honors selection committee of academic professionals based on the following criteria:
- strength of application essay
- academic preparation
- level of involvement and leadership
- awards and recognitions
All UK Honors and Honors Pathway applicants received notifications in the form of email, with a mailed letter to follow. All admission decisions were sent to the student’s personal and UKY email addresses.
If an applicant is unable to locate the admission decision email, it is highly encouraged that they check their junk or spam folders, as messages can sometimes end up in these folders. If an applicant has checked all folders and is still unable to locate a decision email, they may contact honorsadmission@uky.edu for further assistance.
