The Lewis Honors College at the University of Kentucky welcomes applications for Upper-Level Admission (ULA). Membership in the Honors College provides students with enhanced opportunities to deeply explore their chosen field of study. Students will also have access to expanded course offerings, faculty mentorship, Honors advising, and career support through the Center for Personal Development (CPD).

Decisions and Important Dates
Admission decisions will be made by a committee of Honors faculty and staff. Students will be evaluated on college GPA, quality of writing samples, and confirmation of thesis completion support from the applicant’s primary academic department.
Students who submit their application for Fall 2025 admission on or before midnight on Friday, December 13, 2024, will receive their admission decision before priority registration begins for the Fall 2025 semester. All other students wishing to be admitted to the Lewis Honors College for Fall 2024 should submit their application materials no later than midnight on Friday, May 9, 2025. Students should anticipate receiving admission decisions by mid-June 2025.

I appreciate the diversity in Honors course choices, as well as the flexibility. Every semester there are a wide variety of Honors courses making it easy to find new interests and learn new things.
