Welcome to the Lewis Honors College!

The Lewis Honors College provides students with the opportunity to enhance their academic and co-curricular experience while at the University of Kentucky. Honors courses are not simply "more" or "harder" work, but instead give students access to broader, deeper, and more complex learning experiences than standard courses. Our Honors program allows students to take their education to the next level with opportunities, resources, courses, and communities not available elsewhere on campus.

What I most appreciate about Honors is the safe and accepting community it fosters. The faculty truly care about their students, and I always felt like my opinions were welcomed and respected, creating an environment of discovery and exploration free of judgment.
