Center for Personal Development Honor the Balance
“Honor the Balance” is the motto used to remind each other about the importance of prioritizing self-care. To sustain the level of excellence that many Honors students strive for, it is critical to make time for physical, emotional, mental, and social well-being. Each month students have the opportunity to engage in different stress management strategies with the goal to expand their toolbox of well-being activities. In addition, Honor the Balance swag (buttons, post-it notes, etc.) serve as visual reminders for students. Examples of Honor the Balance events include:
- Yoga studio
 - Chair massage
 - Rock painting
 - Planting succulents
 - Self-defense studio
 - Vision board making
 - Letters of gratitude
 - Mindful tea
