Class of 2027
Mariam Younis
What have you learned as a Singletary Scholar?
As a Singletary Scholar, I have learned much about my personal leadership style through self-assessments, class discussions, and meeting with community leaders, and I have used that knowledge to craft my own leadership development plan. This year, I was able to apply the leadership concepts we learned by serving as the Chair of the Outreach Subcommittee for our inaugural leadership conference!
My favorite part about being a Singletary Scholar is that we have such a close-knit cohort where we have fun and support each other's growth and ambitions. Going forward, I ultimately hope to grow into a mentorship role from which I can give back to the community!
