Class of 2025

What have you learned as a Singletary Scholar? 
The two most important lesson I have taken away from my time as a Singletary Scholar are the importance of generosity and communalism in “The Gift of Strawberries”. Then from another book we read, “A Psalm for the Wild-Built”, I learned never to lose my desire for adventure and the sense of childlike wonder that nature inspires in me. As a Singletary Scholar, I would like to continue to pursue my career in chemical/environmental engineering to help protect our world and persevere the natural beauty that we are stewards of.
