Kotomi Yokokura
Kotomi is a senior in the College of Social Work with a passion for exploring and combatting social inequities and stigmas. As an undergraduate, Kotomi founded Take a Tampon, a UK student organization, and Helping Hygiene, a Lexington-based 501(c)(3), to provide free and accessible menstrual hygiene and general hygiene products to students and the greater Kentucky community. She also has advocacy experience in the Kentucky legislature and is passionate about homelessness and housing policy.
